There are three different disciplines applicable depending on the hiring date: (i) for contracts entered into by March 20, 2014, just one extension is allowed and no administrative sanction has been provided for in case of violation of the 20% threshold. In this circumstance, the employer may not enter into fixed term contracts and has the chance to legalize the position within December 31, 2014; (ii) for contracts entered into between March 21 and May 19, 2014, law provides for up to 8 extensions, while it has still to be clarified whether the administrative sanction must be applied in case of violation of the 20% threshold.Contracts exceeding this threshold are turned into a undetermined contract;
